Christmas is almost here and the preparing and baking of our favorite holiday cookies brings us the biggest joy. You don't need to be a master in their preparing, you just need a little patience to experiment with colors and draw something interesting on their surface. We bring you one easy recipe for aromatic and tasty gingerbread cookies, which your kids will love it!

 

Goes Better with

Ingredients:

2500 g powdered sugar
3 eggs
120 g honey
400-50 g flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
pinch of cloves
1 egg white

For the glaze:

140 g powdered sugar
1 egg white
little bit of lemon juice

Preparation:

Mix beaten eggs with sugar. Add honey, spices and flour. Prepare a smooth and soft dough. Roll dough on board sprinkled with flour (4 mm thin crust) and cut different shapes with cookie cutters. Place them in a buttered pan and bake for 10-15 minutes at 160-170 degrees. While they are still hot, brush them with the egg white.

Preparing the glaze:

Mix the sugar with egg white and lemon juice and stir until you get a smooth mixture. Place this mixture in a cone (syringe) and now decorate the cooled cookies.

If you want to make colorful cookies, then take a confectionery paint and use your imagination. Aside from eating, gingerbread cookies are also amazing for decorating the Christmas tree. Happy Holidays!
